China Winter Camp 2017 20 January 2017 Confucius Institute Universitas Kristen Maranatha cooperated with Hebei Normal University held China Winter Camp 2017, on 2 January until 15 January 2017. There are 21 participants for this program, they are all students from Universitas Kristen Maranatha, accompanied by 2 teachers from Confucius Institute. The program started on 2nd January with Trip in Beijing for 5 days and continued in Hebei. On the first 5 days, the participants visited Great Wall, Forbidden City, Bird Nest, and so on. Participants stayed at the International Dorm in Hebei Normal University and experienced how to live in Hebei for the rest 8 days. This program let students to have a new experiences and taught them not only Mandarin but also the culture of Chinese people such as How to make Tea, Chinese papercut, Calligraphy, and so on.
