MaInCup Internship 2016 with Hokusei Gakuen University Japan

MAINCUP ( Maranatha Industrial and Cultural Program) Internship 2016

The program was held 21 August until 28 August 2016. This Internship program was participated by students from Hokusei Gakuen University Japan. This program was called internship program because they were allowed to teach Maranatha Students who majored in Japanese Literature.

The participators as follows :

  • Hayato Maemura (English Department)
  • Akito Yonemori (English Department)
  • Naoto Namekawa (English Department)
  • Mayu Kobayashi (English Department)
  • Madoka Katakani (English Department)
  • Hitomi Honda (English Department)

They were come on 21 August and sightseeing Jakarta by going to Kota Tua and Wayang museums. They came to Bandung and stay in Maranatha University. They were attended BIPA Class (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing) which taught them how to read and speak in Bahasa Indonesia. They also attended Angklung class, which not only taught them the history and knowledge about it but also how to play Angklung (West Java traditional instrument) and Wayang class, Wayang is Indonesian traditional puppet, they were taught how to play it.



They were also have a trip to Batik Komar where they learn more about Batik even try to make it themselves. There also Bandung City Tour, they went to Bandung City Hall, Asian African Conference Museum and Braga street.


Not only a trip but they also held a Japanese Cultural workshop, where they taught Indonesian students how to make an origami and onigiri. They also did internship which they were teaching in Japanese Literature classes for Indonesian students. They went to Rumah Pengharapan Baru Orphanage for Charity program, where they play and sharing with the orphans there.
